Sportfishing practices in Jamaica as in regards to the atlantic blue marlin in present day international tournaments
The only international marlin tournament in Jamaica is the Port Antonio International Marlin Tournament held in September to October each year. This tournament observes the 99 inch Lower Jaw to Fork of Tail (LJFT) or approximate 345 lb minimum for landing. This is being challenged strongly as we speak.
